Atletico manage to steal midfielder from Juventus

Juventus were previously reported to be interested in Atalanta midfielder Ederson, but Atletico have recently become actively involved in talks over the player, which has not turned out well for the Turin side.

Amid the interest of the Los Colchoneros, according to Daniele Longo, the Zebras have put the Brazilian on the back burner in terms of reinforcements for the summer, and have decided to focus on Bologna midfielder Lewis Ferguson.

Juventus sporting director Cristano Giuntoli recently met with representatives of the 25-year-old midfielder and it is reported that it is the Turin side who are now in the best position to poach the Scot for themselves.

It is emphasised that the interest in Ferguson does not cancel work on the transfer of Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners, although the transfer of the Bologna player will be cheaper in financial terms, namely in 25 million euros.
