Atlético Madrid star wants to leave the club because of the manager
Argentine forward Julián Álvarez has become an incredibly important player for Atlético, but it now appears he could be on his way out of the club.
Details: According to Marca, Álvarez wants to leave the club. He does not feel comfortable playing under Diego Simeone.
Julián Álvarez joined Atlético Madrid from Manchester City in 2024 for €75 million. The Argentine’s contract with Los Colchoneros runs until June 30, 2030.
This season, the forward has made 49 appearances across all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing nine assists.
However, earlier reports suggested that Julián Álvarez and his family are very happy with life in Madrid. The Argentine forward is currently in talks with the club over a contract extension.
