Atletico Madrid signs deal with renowned energy drink company

Atletico Madrid has secured a new sponsor, officially signing an agreement with Red Bull.

Details: The "Colchoneros" announced the sponsorship deal with the franchise on their official website. The contract is set to run until June 2027.

Quote: "Red Bull and Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement to become new sponsors of the club. The multinational leader in its sector, known for 'giving wings' to athletes and ideas, is now the official energy drink of our club and will be associated with us until June 2027," read the statement from Atletico.

Notably, this marks the Austrian company's first sponsorship agreement with a Spanish football team.

Meanwhile: Atletico is set to part ways with its legendary sporting director, Andrea Berta. The Italian executive served as the club's sporting director since 2017, having previously held the position of technical director for four years.
