Atlético Madrid Could Part Ways with Simeone Next Summer

Recent reports suggest that Atlético Madrid has started searching for a replacement for their long-time coach Diego Simeone. There is growing speculation that the Argentine might leave the club as early as next summer.

Details: According to TUTTO, the club may part ways with Simeone due to a forthcoming restructuring of Atlético's management. This new structure will focus on assessing fresh technical and managerial profiles.

Earlier reports indicated that sporting director Andrea Berta is set to leave the club at the end of the current season. The same could apply to Simeone, as their futures are believed to be intertwined.

Additionally, there have been rumors that Los Colchoneros have begun their search for Simeone’s successor. This shift is tied to Simeone losing influence at the club, partly due to Berta’s impending departure.

Berta, considered Simeone’s right-hand man, lost his authority following the arrival of new director Carlos Busero, which also impacted Simeone's position.

Reminder: Atlético Madrid is reportedly considering appointing club legend Fernando Torres as a potential successor to Simeone.
