Atletico Madrid continues to take action regarding the incidents that occurred during the derby against Real Madrid, working closely with the police to identify those responsible for throwing objects at Thibaut Courtois.
Details: After three supporters were identified in the first days following the match, the club is now adding another individual to the list. This was reported by Marca.
As in previous cases, once the identity of the fan involved in the disturbances is confirmed, Atletico will permanently revoke their membership status. The club and police’s response remains ongoing, with the investigation continuing until all those involved in the incidents that led to the match being suspended are identified.
Additionally: Regarding the punishment of those responsible, the club firmly states that it is the fans who threw the objects that should bear the consequences. In this regard, Atletico plans to partially close the southern stand of their home stadium until the investigation is completed.
