Atalanta's match in Serie A postponed due to bad weather

Today, September 23, the final match of Serie A’s 5th round between Atalanta and Como was set to take place. However, fans never got to witness the game.

Details: Prior to the match, a torrential downpour began in Bergamo and showed no signs of stopping. The pitch conditions deteriorated to the point where the game could not begin, and initially, the kickoff was postponed by one hour.

However, the rain continued, and the drainage system couldn’t cope with the heavy downpour.

As a result, the match has been rescheduled for tomorrow, September 24, with the kickoff set for 20:45 Central European Time.

Reminder: On Thursday, Atalanta played to a 0-0 draw against Arsenal in the opening round of the Champions League.
