Alcohol consumption has been banned for fans in the stands at Roland Garros, as announced by tournament director Amélie Mauresmo to Sky Sports. This measure is a response to fan behavior during matches.

"Previously, alcohol was permitted in the stands. Now, it is no longer allowed. The officials will be even stricter with fans to ensure continued respect for the players and the game," said Mauresmo.

On May 29, an unpleasant incident occurred at the French Open when David Goffin reported that a fan spat chewing gum at him during his match against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Today, world number one Novak Djokovic had an emotional confrontation with a fan during his match against Roberto Carballés Baena. After losing a point, Djokovic clashed with a spectator who had been heckling him. Following the incident, the crowd booed the tennis player.
