"At least I've won trophies." Andre Onana responds to Matic's statement about him

On Thursday, April 10, Manchester United will face Lyon in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals. Before the game, a conflict arose between Andre Onana and Nemanja Matic.

Details: The Manchester United goalkeeper stated that their team is significantly stronger than Lyon. The Serbian midfielder did not hold back — he did not appreciate such a statement.

Matic emphasized that one of the worst goalkeepers in Manchester United's history has no right to make such claims. Onana also did not remain silent and responded on social media platform X:

Quote: "I would never disrespect another club. We know that tomorrow we face a tough match against a strong opponent.

We are focused on our preparation to delight our fans.

At least I've won trophies with the best club in the world. Some cannot say the same," wrote Andre Onana.

Reminder: The UEFA Europa League quarter-final match between Lyon and Manchester United will take place on Thursday, April 10, at 9:00 PM Central European Time at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais stadium.
