At last. Chelsea have found a replacement for Enzo Fernandez
Chelsea are preparing for any twist in the Enzo Fernandez transfer saga.
Details: According to TEAMtalk, the London club has reopened talks for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott and Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton. Both are being considered as potential options in case Chelsea need to replace Fernandez.

It is reported that Chelsea have been monitoring Scott and Wharton for over a year, but with Manchester City showing interest in Fernandez, the club has stepped up their pursuit of both candidates.
Meanwhile, the situation around the Argentinian has changed in recent days. Manchester City failed to meet Chelsea's demand and did not offer £120 million by the set Friday deadline. As a result, the Londoners now expect Fernandez to remain at Stamford Bridge.
Recently, Enzo returned to the Chelsea squad for a friendly against Real Sociedad. When his name was announced, some fans greeted the midfielder with boos, and rumors of Manchester City's interest are still swirling.
Thus, at this point, Scott and Wharton remain more of insurance options for Chelsea rather than direct candidates to immediately replace the Argentinian star.
Reminder: Hint at a transfer? Alonso leaves three Chelsea players out of squad for clash with Real Sociedad.
