Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins marries longtime girlfriend Ellie Alderson

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins tied the knot with his longtime partner Ellie Alderson over the weekend. Ellie herself shared photos from the lavish ceremony on her Instagram page.

In the pictures, Ellie is seen wearing a stunning white wedding dress as she poses with Watkins, who opted for a classic black suit. She captioned the photos with the words, “Legally Mrs Watkins.”

Watkins and Alderson have known each other since 2018, and their bond has only grown stronger over the years. The couple are proud parents to two children — three-year-old daughter Amara and two-year-old son Marley.

The couple got engaged last summer, following Euro 2024. Watkins proposed during a beautiful ceremony while vacationing with Ellie in Italy.

This season, Watkins has made 53 appearances for Aston Villa across all competitions, netting 17 goals and providing 14 assists. With the Birmingham side, Watkins reached the Champions League quarterfinals, where the team fell short against PSG. In the Premier League, Aston Villa are still fighting for a Champions League spot for next season, with just one matchday remaining.
