Aston Villa make official bid for Brazilian wonderkid from Gremio

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist Ben Jacobs on his X social media page, English club Aston Villa have made an official offer to Brazilian club Gremio for 19-year-old winger Alysson.

It is reported that Aston Villa have offered around €12 million, but Gremio have yet to respond, as the Brazilian club are carefully considering all aspects of the proposal.
Alysson is a Gremio academy product who was promoted to the first team from the U20 squad this summer and has already established himself as a top-level player, featuring in 41 matches for the club with 1 goal and 2 assists.
His current contract with Gremio runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated at €5 million by Transfermarkt.
