Aston Villa have signed the Championship star for £15million

Winger Morgan Rogers has officially transferred from Middlesbrough to Aston Villa. The 21-year-old footballer has signed a contract until the summer of 2029.

Earlier reports from Fabrizio Romano indicated that the transfer would cost Aston Villa around £15 million.

The acquisition of this particular player was a personal request from Aston Villa's head coach, Unai Emery, who sees significant potential in him.

Rogers is a product of the Manchester City youth academy, from where he moved to Middlesbrough last summer. The previous season, this footballer spent on loan at Blackpool.

In the current season, Rogers has notched up 7 goals and 9 assists in 33 matches across all competitions.
