Aston Villa have entered the race for Slot’s favourite

With Arne Slot leaving for Liverpool, a host of Feyenoord players have been sent by the press to follow their now former manager. Still, one of them could end up at another Premier League club.

According to HITC, Feyenoord defender Lutsharel Geertruida has attracted attention from Aston Villa. It is believed that his signing would provide additional depth and versatility to the Champions League team's back line.

It is not yet known how much money we are talking about, but it is known that Rotterdam have already received a transfer offer. He was valued at £25m last year, but the price may now drop as he only has 12 months left on his contract with Feyenoord.

As a right-back, Geertruida has been a good performer, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in Feyenoord's 47 games last season. Although he is more comfortable on the right flank of the defence, he can also play on the left or in the centre.
