Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez sustained an injury during the match against Chelsea

In the 13th round of the English Premier League, Chelsea hosted Aston Villa at home.

For the visitors, the match proved to be unlucky, and not just in terms of the result. As of the 80th minute, the Blues led 2-0 thanks to goals from Jackson and Fernández in the first half.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez was unable to finish the match. He was substituted at halftime by Olsen due to an injury, the nature of which is still unknown.

Interestingly, during the first half, the goalkeeper was involved in a bizarre incident when he caught the ball from his own teammate. A free kick was awarded against his goal, but the Villa defense handled it excellently.
