Aston Villa Defender Mings Sets Unfortunate "Record" for English Players in the Champions League

The game’s only goal came courtesy of Hans Vanaken, who converted a penalty. The foul that led to the spot-kick was committed by Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings, who was making his Champions League debut.

Interestingly, Mings became the first English player to concede a penalty in his debut UEFA Champions League match.
