Aston Villa announces contract extension with England national team midfielder Rogers
This season, young attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers has cemented his place in Aston Villa’s starting lineup, and today he was rewarded for his impressive progress.
Details: Aston Villa has officially announced a contract extension with Rogers. While the duration of the new deal remains undisclosed, it has been described as a long-term agreement.
Rogers’ previous contract with the “Lions” was set to run until the summer of 2029.
The 22-year-old joined Aston Villa from Middlesbrough in January 2024 for €9.4 million. This season, Rogers has contributed 3 goals and 3 assists in 15 appearances across all competitions.
On November 14, Rogers made his senior debut for England in a 3-0 victory over Greece.
