Aston Villa Advance Aaron Wan-Bissaka Transfer as Kosta Nedeljkovic Nears Rangers Move
Aston Villa are reportedly making significant progress in their pursuit of West Ham United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Villa’s interest comes as Kosta Nedeljkovic prepares to leave the club for Rangers on a season-long loan. The deal is expected to include a £4 million obligation to buy, according to reports.
Nedeljkovic’s departure would free up space in Unai Emery’s squad and could pave the way for Villa to complete a move for Wan-Bissaka.
According to TalkSPORT, negotiations for the former Manchester United defender are now at an advanced stage. West Ham are reportedly demanding around £25 million for the 27-year-old.
Wan-Bissaka joined West Ham from Manchester United two years ago but is now available following the Hammers’ relegation from the Premier League last season.
The defender has yet to feature for West Ham this campaign, having been left out of the squad for their Carabao Cup victory over Notts County and their Championship opener against Burnley.
