ASEC Mimosas held to a draw in a pre-season friendly ahead of the CAF Champions League
The reigning Ivorian Ligue 1 champions are continuing their preparations for their domestic and continental campaigns.
ASEC Mimosas played another friendly match as part of their pre-season preparations. The Ivorian club faced Issia Wazzy on Saturday 29 August.
However, the match ended in a 3-3 draw. Stéphane Bedi scored twice for ASEC Mimosas, whilst Adama Fofana netted one goal.
The defending champions of the Ivorian professional league have thus gone another friendly match without a win. Prior to this 10th friendly of their pre-season preparations, against Issia Wazzy, the Mimos had drawn 2–2 with Mouna FC on 22 August.
For their opening match in the 2026–2027 CAF Champions League, ASEC Mimosas will face ASCK of Togo in the first preliminary round. The first leg is scheduled for 6 September in Togo.
