Aryna Sabalenka shared why she prefers watching men's tennis more

The reigning champion of the WTA 1000 clay tournament in Madrid, Aryna Sabalenka, revealed why she prefers watching men's tennis over women's.

"I'm not someone who watches a lot of tennis; I prefer watching men's tennis more than women's. I feel there's more strategy involved, and it's more intriguing to watch," she chuckled.

"I don't watch the matches of my main rivals. I feel like I've played against them a lot, and if I were to face any of them again, my coach would show me clips of their games to analyze and prepare me," Sabalenka stated.

In her opening match in Madrid, Aryna will face the winner of the match between Magda Linette and Elisabetta Cocciaretto. Last year, Sabalenka defeated Iga Swiatek in the final of the tournament in the Spanish capital.

Earlier, bookmakers named the favorite for the Madrid WTA 1000 tournament.
