Colo-Colo superstar Arturo Vidal made his debut in senior football exactly 20 years ago. The player shared photos from the match, which took place on May 28, 2005, in his Instagram story.

Arturo reposted a publication from another channel that highlighted this milestone event.

"20 years since the King's debut! 👑 🏁 On May 28, 2005, Arturo Vidal made his professional debut. It happened in the match between Colo-Colo and Deportes Melipilla at the Monumental Stadium, which ended in a 2-2 draw. The King came on in the 82nd minute, replacing Héctor Tapia. The rest is history!" the caption under the photo reads.

It's worth noting that Vidal has had an exceptionally rich career, playing for many of Europe's top clubs and winning a host of titles. He has featured for Bayern Munich, Juventus, Inter, and Barcelona, winning league championships in Germany, Italy, and Spain.

He also played for Brazil's Flamengo, with whom he lifted the 2022 Copa Libertadores trophy.

In January 2024, Vidal returned to Chile, rejoining his boyhood club Colo-Colo, with whom he became national champion last season.
