Arthur Masuaku returns to Sunderland
His loan spell at Lens has come to an end
The Congolese left-back is returning to his English club following his loan spell at Lens.
Arthur Masuaku will continue his career with Sunderland AFC in the Premier League. The DR Congo international defender was not retained by Lens at the end of his loan spell, which officially ends on 30 June.
The French club confirmed on Tuesday that Masuaku is returning to his original club, Sunderland AFC, with whom he is under contract until 2027. During his time at Lens, Arthur Masuaku made four Ligue 1 appearances during the 2025–2026 season.
