Arteta's long-standing target! Arsenal renews pursuit of Monaco star defender
The London giants are not letting up in the race for one of the French top flight's most exciting full-backs.
Details: London club Arsenal remain seriously interested in Monaco's 25-year-old Brazilian right-back Vanderson and continue to keep a close eye on the development of his career.
In recent weeks, the Gunners' analytics and scouting departments have stepped up their monitoring of the Brazilian. In London, the Monaco full-back is viewed as a long-standing priority transfer target who could significantly increase competition on the right side of the defence and add greater attacking threat to the team.
Monaco's hierarchy place a high value on their player's status and have no intention of letting him leave without a substantial fee. However, Arsenal's position as a Premier League title contender and their ambitions could prove to be a decisive factor in potential negotiations between the clubs.
It is worth noting that Vanderson joined Monaco at the start of 2022, moving from Brazilian side Grêmio for €11 million. Since then, he has made more than 100 appearances in France's Ligue 1 and has regularly been called up to the Brazil national team.
