Arteta wants to pull off sensational Luis Diaz transfer from Liverpool

Barcelona won't be the only competitor in the race for the potential summer transfer of Liverpool star Luis Diaz.

Details. According to a fresh update from Teamtalk.com, the Colombian forward is attracting interest from Arsenal. Mikel Arteta is considering a bold move for Diaz, despite them being Liverpool's closest challengers for the Premier League title this season.

Arteta is concerned about ongoing injury issues and the goal count in his current attacking options, and the versatile Diaz could be the solution, having already scored 13 goals this season.

Diaz is also linked with Barcelona. However, the Colombian's departure from Liverpool is far from a done deal. If Mohamed Salah does leave, it would strengthen Liverpool's resolve to keep Diaz at Anfield, despite interest from other clubs.

Reminder. It was previously reported that Arsenal is closing in on signing Martin Zubimendi.
