Arsenal's head coach, Mikel Arteta, has responded to the fact that the Gunners did not make any transfers, either in or out, during the winter transfer window.

The Spanish coach urges fans to remain calm and assures them that he knows what he's doing:

"Believe me, I love my players. I think positively, it's the best way. Tomorrow we are going to score goals and be on top. They are going to be on top."

During the winter transfer window, Arsenal's moves were only related to loans. Runar Runarsson returned from loan at Cardiff City but was immediately sent on another loan to Danish club Copenhagen. Brazilian player Marcinhos returned from his loan at Nantes in France but has not been sent on a new loan yet.

Earlier, in response to rumors about Erling Haaland's potential move to Real Madrid, Pep Guardiola, Arteta's counterpart, jokingly mocked the Spanish media.
