Arsenal Star William Saliba Returns to Cameroon to Reconnect With His Roots

Arsenal defender William Saliba has returned to his Cameroonian roots, visiting his mother's homeland and meeting football legend Samuel Eto'o during his time away from club football.

The French international is currently in Cameroon as he continues his recovery from the injury that ruled him out during France's 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.

Saliba, who was born in Bondy, France, to a Cameroonian mother, has always maintained a strong connection to his African heritage.
