Arsenal preparing blockbuster transfer: Viktor Gyökeres to cost €75 million

After another season without silverware, Arsenal are actively seeking reinforcements in the transfer market. One of the Gunners’ top targets is Sporting’s prolific Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres.

According to Portuguese outlet A Bola, the London club has already reached an agreement with the forward for a move this summer. Both parties have settled on personal terms for a contract lasting four or five years, with the player set to earn €8.3 million per year. Sporting will receive a €75 million compensation for the 26-year-old goal machine.

It’s worth noting that the Swedish striker delivered an outstanding season: he played 50 matches for the Portuguese club, netting an incredible 52 goals and providing 12 assists, making him one of the most electrifying scorers in European football.
