Arsenal deliver a gift to the entire Premier League for next season

On Tuesday, April 7, the first legs of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals took place, and in one of the matches Arsenal managed to deliver a boost for all of England.

Details: Thanks to a narrow 1–0 victory over Sporting, the English Premier League has secured an additional slot for next season’s UEFA Champions League. As a result, at least five English teams will once again feature in Europe’s premier club competition.

We also reported that if Real Madrid manage to reach the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League by beating Bayern Munich, it would be enough for La Liga to secure a fifth spot for the next season.

Thanks to their victory, Bayern Munich were finally able to end a 14-year winless streak in the UEFA Champions League.
