Top Premier League clubs are interested in the Crystal Palace defender

Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi has garnered interest from Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United. Guehi's contract with the English national team's defender is set to run until 2026. However, Arsenal is reportedly considering a winter transfer move for the player. The Sun reports that Crystal Palace is not willing to sell their player in the winter, potentially leading to competition for him during the summer transfer window, which could significantly increase his contract value.

At present, according to Transfermarkt, the player's estimated value stands at €35 million, but with substantial interest in Guehi, Crystal Palace might command a higher fee. If the player's contract value increases, the Eagles could surpass their own transfer record. The club's most expensive transfer to date is the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United in 2019 for €55 million.

Marc Guehi is a product of Chelsea's youth academy, where he began his career playing for the U-19 and U-23 teams and featured in two matches for the senior team in the Football League Cup. In 2019, he embarked on a loan spell at Swansea City, where he had spent two years before Crystal Palace acquired him for €23.3 million.

Guehi has played 93 matches for Crystal Palace, finding the net five times. Additionally, the defender represents the England national team, having played for the U-17, U-19, U-20, and U-21 squads. He made his debut for the senior national team in a friendly match last year and has now appeared in six games for the England senior squad.
