Arouna Sangante will leave France for Spain next summer
His contract expires on 30 June at Le Havre AC
The Senegalese centre-back who plays for Le Havre AC is set to join Sevilla FC.
After five years with the Sky Blues, Arouna Sangante is set to change leagues. The Senegalese player will leave France's Ligue 1 for Spain's La Liga during the summer transfer window. Sevilla FC has been interested in the 23-year-old for several months and is now reportedly taking action to sign him.
Negotiations between the two sides are at a very advanced stage and the Le Havre AC captain is expected to move to Andalusia next summer, according to El Desmarque. His current contract with the French club expires in June 2026 and Arouna Sangante could leave on a free transfer. If the deal goes through, it will be a new milestone for the Senegalese defender.
