In 2025, an F1 film starring Brad Pitt hit the screens. The movie performed very well at the box office, sparking discussions about a potential sequel.

Details: According to Variety, Joseph Kosinski, the director of the first film, revealed that negotiations are currently underway for a continuation of the F1 film and a new installment.

The world premiere took place on June 16, 2025, at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, attended by both the actors and Formula 1 drivers. The digital release of the movie followed on August 22, 2025.

The production budget for the film reached $300 million. In terms of earnings, the movie grossed $629.5 million worldwide.

Reminder: Sauber is currently competing in Formula 1, but starting from the 2026 season, the team will officially become Audi. The German manufacturer has unveiled the concept of its future race car.
