Kylian Mbappe will miss the second leg of the UEFA Champions League tie due to injury, and now a Real Madrid manager has provided an update on the expected length of his absence.

Details: Ahead of the clash against Benfica, Alvaro Arbeloa was asked about Mbappe’s injury and admitted that it may not be a matter of just a few days.

Quote: “Kylian Mbappe’s absence will not be a matter of a few days, it will last a bit longer,” Arbeloa stated.

The match between Real Madrid and Benfica will take place on Wednesday, 25 February, with kick-off at 21:00 CET. The first leg ended in a 1–0 victory for Los Blancos.

Prior to this encounter, police dispersed Benfica supporters near the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. It was also reported that several fans of the Portuguese side required medical assistance.

Reminder: We previously reported that Benfica lost their appeal against Prestianni’s suspension. He will definitively miss the showdown with Real Madrid.
