Antonio Conte has revealed whether Napoli will fight for the Scudetto this season
Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has commented on whether the Neapolitan team will be competing for the Scudetto this season.
Details: The coach believes his team should ignore the outside chatter and focus on their own performance.
Quote: "Napoli in the race for the Scudetto? No one here is a fool! Some people are trying to put pressure on us, but we need to block out the noise. Those who win the Scudetto are backed by history, asset value, and salaries. That’s what history teaches us, with very rare exceptions. What a revelation," Conte told Nicolo Schira.
Reminder: Antonio Conte took over at Napoli this summer. After the first six matches of Serie A, the Neapolitan side has collected 13 points and currently tops the Serie A table. On October 4, Conte's team will face newly-promoted Como.
