Renowned promoter Eddie Hearn has shared his thoughts on the potential opponent for his protege, Anthony Joshua, as reported by iFL TV.

According to Hearn, the British boxer is eager to engage in significant bouts with top-tier fighters. Joshua aims to secure titles in the heavyweight division and wishes to have fights with Fury and Usyk.

"This is what Ben Davison wants - another fight with Usyk. For me, obviously, I prefer the fight with Fury. A lot has to happen by March for the fight with Hrgovic to be possible. Obviously, I prefer the Fury fight to happen.

He mentioned that there are many questions regarding whether Fury and Usyk can retain their titles, and if not, Joshua may step in to replace Wallin in the IBF rankings.

Hearn stated that if a fight happens in March, it is undoubtedly a possibility. Talks are ongoing within the team about planning the next four or five fights for AJ. This includes his 2024 campaign and potentially the rest of his career.

Hearn added that, in his opinion, Joshua will have a fight in March and likely another in August or September.
