A few days ago, Anthony Joshua suffered a devastating knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in the fifth round. Additionally, last week, he admitted his guilt in connection with a traffic violation.

Details: According to Bench Warmers, AJ was caught speeding in May 2024, clocked at 44 miles per hour in a zone where the limit is 30 miles per hour. This incident occurred on the A26 road in Lewes, East Sussex, on May 29.

In a letter to the court, he acknowledged his guilt and explained that it was linked to his intense training regime.

Quote: "My schedule was exceptionally demanding, and I was either on my way to training or returning from it at the time of the offense. The physical and mental fatigue from training may have clouded my judgment, leading to a lapse in concentration.

I understand that such circumstances do not excuse speeding, and I deeply regret allowing myself to make this mistake," Joshua stated.

He also requested the court to consider the potential impact of additional penalty points, which could lead to a driving ban, on his career.

He emphasized his reliance on the ability to drive to and from training, which often takes place in remote locations.

Reminder: Turki Al-Sheikh made an intriguing statement regarding Anthony Joshua's future.
