Following the update of the men's European club competition format, UEFA has concluded that the women's game also requires change. In line with this initiative, the association has unveiled a new strategy for women's football called "Unstoppable."

Details: The aim of the strategy is to make this sport the most popular among women and girls across all countries in Europe and to increase the number of fully professional leagues. From 2024 to 2030, UEFA will direct revenues from tournaments and investments totaling 1 billion euros towards the development of women's football, supporting club competitions, national and youth teams, the distribution of funds among clubs and national associations, as well as development projects.

Quote: "Unstoppable is our plan that will lay the foundation for a sustainable future and unlock the full potential of women's football. As we enter this exciting era, we must continue to move forward with the same passion that has brought us this far. Our mission is simple — to help women's football take center stage in Europe's sports community," noted UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin.
