Another suitor has emerged for the Brentford forward
Despite the nearly finalized transfer of Joshua Zirkzee, Manchester United is showing interest in Brentford forward Ivan Toney. The forward himself has expressed a desire to move to Old Trafford, and his manager has confirmed that selling the player seems quite likely.
Thomas Frank, Brentford's coach, noted that it would be interesting to see Toney in a top team, considering his high level of play. Toney himself confirmed that he wants to play for elite clubs but is currently focused on the Euro 2024 final with England.
It is worth adding that the player has one year left on his current contract with the Bees, and there have been no negotiations for a new contract. Toney has been playing for Brentford since 2020, and according to Transfermarkt, his value is estimated at 50 million euros.
