Another semifinalist in the African Football League has been determined

In another quarter-final match of the African Football League, Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa faced Petro Atletico from Angola. The first game between these teams ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of the South Africans.

The match started off unexpectedly for Mamelodi Sundowns, as they were reduced to ten men in the second minute when midfielder Mvala received a straight red card. It seemed like Petro Atletico might have an advantage, but the home team defended well and didn't allow the Angolan side to create any significant chances.

After the halftime break, the visitors pressed Mamelodi Sundowns, but apart from dominating possession, they couldn't create much. Over the 45 minutes of the second half, Atletico managed only three shots, and one of them was on target. This was not enough to secure a place in the semifinals.

Mamelodi Sundowns held Petro Atletico to a goalless draw in this match, and with a combined score of 2-0 over two legs, they advance to the semifinals.
