Real Madrid responded immediately to the incident, issuing an apology on the Chinese social network Weibo. Huijsen himself has yet to comment on the situation.

Fans on social media have expressed their dissatisfaction with the defender's actions and are urging Real Madrid management to release an apology not just on Weibo, but also on other major global platforms, including X and Instagram.
UEFA and FIFA have also not responded to the Huijsen incident, which is rather surprising given their strict and rapid reaction to the Prestiani and Vinicius Junior scandal.
This season, Huijsen has played 27 matches for Los Blancos, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Reminder: New twist in the scandal! Prestianni admits to using homophobic, but not racist slurs towards Vinicius
