Another scandal erupts! Real Madrid nutritionist reveals shocking treatment by club staff

Scandalous headlines continue to swirl around Real Madrid in recent times.

Details: In an interview with Marca, 47-year-old former Real Madrid nutritionist Itziar González revealed that during her tenure at the club, she faced prejudice and even threats from the medical staff of Los Blancos.

According to Itziar, Real Madrid’s medical team disliked her, even though the benefits of her work were clear: players were pleased that after working with Itziar, they suffered fewer cramps, had less muscle pain, and didn’t experience severe fatigue after training sessions and matches. However, this didn’t sit well with the club’s medical staff.

Despite being personally invited by Florentino Pérez, the medical department managed to sway the Real Madrid president, slandering Itziar in the process:

“Real Madrid’s nutrition and diet plan? In Real Madrid, there is no nutrition department at all, because the doctor in charge when I arrived told me that diet and supplements have nothing to do with injuries and performance. The chef chooses whichever products he wants to cook with, and that’s it. They told me my work was useless.” Itziar confessed.

After several threats from Real staff—who said they were willing to destroy her life and would do everything to humiliate her for as long as possible—Itziar filed for resignation, which she had to fight for in court to get approved. Now, with everything behind her, Itziar has decided to fully tell the story of this sad and unjust ordeal.
