In the NBA regular season game between Memphis and the Lakers, there was a clock error in the third quarter. The game clock was set to the wrong time, unnoticed by both teams and referees. As a result, the game continued for 13 minutes and 6 seconds instead of the usual 12 minutes.

This error led to Memphis's possession time expiring earlier than expected. Due to the extra time from the mistake, both teams scored 2 additional points, and the Lakers won 123-120. It's noted that this confusion didn't affect the final outcome.

The match report highlighted that referees overlooked rule violations by the Lakers three times in the last 2 minutes of the game, and Memphis head coach Taylor Jenkins received a technical foul for disputes with the referees. The Lakers will play their final regular-season game against New Orleans on the road on April 14th.
