Another milestone: Messi becomes the first player to reach 1300 goal contributions

In the early hours of Monday, 24 November, Inter Miami demolished Cincinnati in the MLS playoff quarterfinals — and once again Lionel Messi delivered a dazzling performance.

Details: The Argentine scored one goal and provided three assists. For Lionel, this marked the 1300th goal contribution of his career. He is the first player in football history to reach such a milestone.

Earlier, we reported on the story of Yumara, a woman from Ecuador who filmed a video with Lionel Messi to fulfil the dream of her friend, a devoted fan of the Argentine star. It was a beautiful gesture… but it came at an unexpected cost: she lost her job.

Reminder: After Cristiano Ronaldo’s visit to the White House and his dinner with U.S. President Donald Trump, social media erupted in a clash between supporters of the Republican and Democratic parties.
