Another Middle Eastern club? Saudi consortium wants to buy Everton
The collapse of a deal for Everton to be bought by investment company 777 Partners has put the club's continued existence at risk as the Toffees face financial problems, but the Merseyside outfit could soon have a new owner.
As reported by National World, Everton are interested in a certain business consortium headed by a member of the Saudi royal family, whose name is not disclosed. The consortium has submitted a formal offer to buy the club to its current owner Farhad Moshiri for the sum of 400 million pounds.
It is true that these individuals are not the only ones who want to get Everton. Earlier we reported that the club intends to buy Liverpool businessmen Andy Bell and George Downing, who have secured the support of American billionaire and founder of the company Dell Michael Dell.
