Rapper Drake bet $300,000 on Canada to win with odds of 9.6, potentially earning $2.8 million. However, the rapper once again misjudged the match's outcome, as Argentina comfortably defeated Canada 2-0.
It is worth noting that the well-known Canadian rapper Drake, famous for placing massive bets on sporting events, has made several significant wagers. Drake bet $500,000 each on the winners of the NBA and Stanley Cup.
Drake believed that the Dallas Mavericks would defeat the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals, placing his bet at odds of 2.75. Meanwhile, he backed the Edmonton Oilers to win against the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Finals with odds of 2.05. However, the opposite occurred, with Boston winning the NBA Finals and the Florida Panthers triumphing in the Stanley Cup.
