Another DR Congo player: Kaizer Chiefs eye former Nabi protégé

Kaizer Chiefs have once again set their sights on talent from DR Congo. Over the past two years, the club has already signed two players from the country: striker Christian Saile and dynamic winger Glody Lilepo.
Now, the Chiefs are reportedly interested in another Congolese star—attacking midfielder Maxi Nzengeli, who currently plays for Young Africans in the Tanzanian Premier League. According to Soccer Laduma, Ngenzeli has previously worked under the guidance of the current Kaizer Chiefs head coach, Nabi, making this potential reunion particularly intriguing.
In addition, the Amakhosi could also bolster their ranks with South African talent—winger Mihlali Mayambela, who is currently playing for Cyprus-based Aris and represents the South African national team. The 28-year-old is eager to return home after a nine-year stint in Europe. Mayambela previously played for Kaizer Chiefs at youth level and regards the club as his top choice for a Premier Soccer League comeback.
