Cristiano Ronaldo is once again left without a trophy. His Al-Nassr sensationally lost to Japan's Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League Two final.
The fate of the match was sealed by a single goal from Hammet midway through the first half. The Saudi club dominated possession throughout the game and created a slew of chances at the opponent's goal, but simply couldn't find the back of the net.
Remarkably, the 41-year-old Ronaldo still has yet to win a major trophy with the club. Previously, he did lift the Arab Club Champions Cup with the team, but that tournament does not hold official status.
It's also worth noting that the Portuguese forward still has a chance to claim silverware this season. Al-Nassr will become Saudi Pro League champions if they defeat Damac in the final round.
