Barcelona continues to offload players, with central defender Clément Lenglet moving to Atlético Madrid.

The Catalan club has officially announced the player's departure. Lenglet has joined Atlético on a one-year loan, with no mandatory purchase option included in the contract. Atlético will cover the majority of Lenglet's salary. We had previously reported that Barcelona was set to extend Lenglet's contract until 2027.

As we recently reported, despite İlkay Gündoğan and Vitor Roque leaving the Catalan club, the registration of Olmo remains complicated. Barcelona needs to free up additional roster spots in the coming days to register the Spanish midfielder.

Another player Barcelona is willing to sell is central defender Andreas Christensen. The club is reportedly asking potential buyers for €25 million for Christensen.

Additionally, although Rafael Leão of Milan was a priority for the Catalan club, this opportunity now seems unlikely.
