Another Atlético Madrid legend could leave the club this summer
Atlético Madrid have already lost Antoine Griezmann following the conclusion of the season, and another iconic figure could soon be on his way out of the club.
Details: According to Marca, goalkeeper Jan Oblak will consider his future during the summer of 2026. At present, the decision is entirely in his hands.
If the Slovenian chooses to leave, Atlético will not stand in his way. However, if he decides to stay, the club are prepared to continue building with him as part of their plans.
Oblak joined Atlético Madrid on July 14, 2014, in a transfer worth €13 million. Since then, he has made 538 official appearances for the Madrid club and established himself as one of the most influential and respected players in the modern history of the team.
We previously reported that Julián Álvarez himself remains determined to continue his career at Barcelona. The forward intends to leave the Madrid club in order to join the reigning Spanish champions.
Reminder: Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, whose contract expires this season, has already decided on his next club.
