Manchester United continues to break all possible negative records in the club's history. Under the management of Ruben Amorim, the team is displaying lackluster performances in the English Premier League, languishing in 14th place.
In the 33rd round of the current Premier League season, the Red Devils lost at home to Wolverhampton, rewriting club history. This marks the first time in Premier League history that the team has suffered as many as 15 defeats in a single season.
Previously, the Mancunians lost as many games in the First Division during the 1989/1990 season. Back then, Manchester United suffered 16 losses and finished 13th, accumulating only 48 points.
It is worth noting that the defeat to Wolves marked the team's 8th home loss in the current Premier League season. They haven't lost this many at Old Trafford since the 1962/63 season.
Additionally, Ruben Amorim has hinted that the club's main objective will be a successful run in the Europa League. Should they triumph in this tournament, the Red Devils will secure a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League.
