Angering the fans: Garnacho spotted vacationing in a Rashford Aston Villa shirt
Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho has ramped up tensions with the club and its supporters. The Argentine winger posted photos from his holiday in Ibiza on Instagram, and one shot in particular caught everyone’s attention: he’s sporting an Aston Villa shirt with Rashford’s name on the back.
The image sparked serious outrage among Manchester United fans, who wasted no time voicing their displeasure in the comments. Some argued that Garnacho had crossed a line, while others claimed he had lost the respect of the majority of the club’s fanbase.
It’s worth recalling that Garnacho has been at loggerheads with United manager Ruben Amorim for some time. The winger was reportedly frustrated after being left out of the starting lineup for the Europa League final against Tottenham. Following that snub, the Portuguese coach told Alejandro to start looking for a new club.
Amorim has also omitted Garnacho from Manchester United’s squad for their pre-season tour of the United States. Alongside him, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford were also left off the list.
