André Onana Returns to Manchester United to Begin Pre-Season Training

Andre Onana has reportedly returned to Manchester United following the conclusion of his loan spell at Trabzonspor, with the goalkeeper currently expected to report for pre-season training under manager Michael Carrick.

The Cameroon international enjoyed a productive campaign in Turkey, helping Trabzonspor lift the 2026 Turkish Cup. Onana produced a standout display in the final and was widely praised for his contribution to the club's cup-winning success.

Despite his return to Old Trafford, uncertainty remains over where the goalkeeper will play next season. Reports suggest Trabzonspor are interested in bringing him back on another loan deal after his impressive performances.

However, negotiations could prove difficult, with Manchester United's ownership group, INEOS, reportedly only willing to sanction another temporary move if the Turkish club agrees to cover the player's wages in full.
